I am the customer service person and technical liaison for a medium size internet based company providing an online community for scientists and advertising for our sponsors. I have had the pleasure of working with Wenjun Wang for about 3 years.
Wenjun took over development of our website at a critical time when we were redesigning all our pages and also responding to numerous security and spamming issues that started cropping up as our traffic increased. From the moment Wenjun took over, my life was made a whole lot easier! As the person who used to answer to our customers regarding their problems and complaints, I did my best to get issues resolved or have our former developer take care of them, but I was often left floundering. I was so impressed with how responsive and capable Wenjun was with every issue that came along. I can hardly express the deep feelings of relief and gratitude I had knowing that there was someone around who could fix things and keep our customers and visitors happy. He is not only extremely intelligent, hard working and helpful, but he is also very easy to communicate with. It is sometimes difficult for non-technical people to explain to programmers what they want and need in a way that the programmers can understand but Wenjun is also excellent at interpreting our wishes and giving us our options in an understandable way complete with very accurate estimations on the time, amount of work and potential pitfalls of any project.
When the workload we were giving him started becoming too high, Wenjun brought in Kevin Sun as his assistant. I also had the pleasure of working with Kevin for over a year and have been extremely pleased and impressed with him too. He very quickly familiarized himself with our complex site code and features and worked with me and other staff on creating new features for our site and renovating our designs. Like Wenjun, Kevin is very precise and analytical. Whenever I would ask for something to be added to the site, he would either tell me either it was a good idea, or he'd tell me that it wouldn't work but here was why and then he'd give me an alternative. He always understood exactly what I wanted and if he offered another option, I quickly learned to just take his suggestion, since it always made the most sense.
I can't recommend this team highly enough. They are both extremely talented and hard working and able to deal with all the intricacies and aspects of operating a website. On top of that, they are such team players. They are both very approachable and easy to work with and are committed to getting things done promptly and correctly and doing everything possible to see the company succeed.
